Sidney Crosby showed he was a good sport at last night’s All-Star Skills contests. He was one of the superstars sitting in the hot seat, or “wet seat” if you will for the dunk tank contest, where players had to shoot down six targets to dunk a fellow all-star. Inside, Crosby teamed with Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals and Ovechkin’s 4-year-old son Sergei to score in the breakaway challenge against Florida Panthers hall of famer Roberto Luongo.
Today is the actual all-star games itself in Sunrise, Florida, home of the Panthers. 3-on-3 hockey will start with the Central and Pacific Divisions playing each other, followed by the Atlantic and Metropolitan divisions. Winners of each game will play the final tonight.
