There was rare Sunday action in high school basketball for the Indiana girls yesterday at Seton Hill University. Jake Slebodnick was there.
WRESTLING
The Indiana High School Wrestling team was in action at the West Branch Ultimate Warrior Tournament over the weekend.
Indiana placed 24th out of 43 teams. Carter Putt had a 5th place finish, Griffin Prebish placed 8th, and Brandyn Parcell 7th. The Indians also placed 8th out of 35 teams in the JV tournament with Graham McFarlane getting a first place, Carson Beatty at 3rd, and Muneeb Kasi also placing 3rd.
River Valley was also at the West Branch tournament, with a 6th place finish for Brad Miller and a 7th for Kaden Barnhard.
TRACK & FIELD
The Indiana track and field teams were at the TSTCA invitational at Edinboro University on Saturday. Senior Abbie Huey continued her outstanding indoor season, winning the 60 meter dash and matching her own school record time of 7.79 seconds. Charlie Weber was second in the pole jump at 14 feet. The boys 4 x 400 relay team finished second in their race, and the 4 X 800 girls relay team was 6th.

There is high school basketball action on the air tonight as the United boys visit Marion Center, on 92.5 FM U92 at 7.
The River Valley boys will be on the road at Central Cambria tonight. You’ll hear it on Cat Country 106.3 FM at 7.
