Some Penelec customers in Center Township are going to be without power for most of the day.
Penelec’s outage map reports that 12 customers in Center Township and the surrounding areas are going through a planned outage. Crews are currently on-scene making repairs to a damaged utility pole near the intersection of Route 119 and Lucerne Road.
The outage started at 8:00 and is expected to go until the late afternoon-early evening.
This is also affecting the traffic light at the intersection of 119 and Lucerne Road. Drivers are reminded that if the light is out completely, the intersection should be treated as a four-way stop.
