IUP guard Shawndale Jones earned his third PSAC West Athlete of the Week award Monday afternoon.
Jones had another prolific performance in IUP’s win over California on Saturday, tallying 31 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Over the past week, he’s averaged 27 points, eight assists, 5.5 rebounds and a shooting percentage of 42.5 against Cal and Clarion.
Jones was named PSAC West Athlete of the Week on November 21 and December 20.
He, and the rest of the IUP men’s basketball team, takes on Edinboro tonight. Airtime is 5:15 for the women’s game, with the men to follow, on U92.5 FM and U92radio.com.
