More details were released concerning a crash that happened in Green Township this morning.
State police say they were dispatched at 9:19 a.m. to the intersection of Route 580 and Valley Road for a crash involving two vehicles. They say one of the cars, a 2006 Ford Taurus X, attempted to make a right turn onto Valley Road and spun 180 degrees on the roadway. The second car, a 2013 Nissan Murano, was following and hit the Ford’s rear end at the 8 o’clock position. The Nissan slid into a small ditch, while the Ford continued driving across the roadway.
The Ford sustained minor rear end damage while the Nissan sustained minor front end damage. Troopers say none of the drivers were injured and they wore seatbelts.
Assisting state police on scene were Commodore and Clymer fire departments.
