Fresh off a sweep of Clarion on Wednesday, the IUP basketball teams return to action tomorrow afternoon for a doubleheader against Cal U at the KCAC.
Cal’s women’s basketball team comes off back-to-back losses to Gannon and Mercyhurst, while the men come to the KCAC with records of 7-9 overall and 4-6 in the KCAC.
The IUP men come into the weekend ranked No. 1 in Division II and in the PSAC. Coach Joe Lombardi says his team is enjoying the hot streak.
Women’s coach Craig Carey reflected on Wednesday’s win, saying the support from the home crowd helped keep his players focused.
