The Steelers have confirmed that offensive coordinator Matt Canada will return next season, the final year of his three-year contract. The Steelers finished 23rd in the NFL in total yardage and 26th in scoring offense, but showed steady improvement after the bye week, when they went 7-2. Canada turns 51 years old today.
Steelers assistant wide receivers coach Blaine Stewart is leaving the team to take a job on the coaching staff at West Virginia University.
