The Penguins have another day off today before getting back on the ice tomorrow night for the first of back-to-back games. They take on Winnipeg at PPG Paints Arena tomorrow and travel to Carolina on Saturday night.
Yesterday, the team sent defenseman Mark Friedman to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. They also placed forward Ryan Poehling on injured reserve retroactive to December 30th and goaltender Tristan Jarry landed on injured reserve retroactive to January 2nd.
