When coach Mike Tomlin holds his weekly news conference today, he won’t have to spend much time with his injury report. He said after Sunday’s win over Carolina that the team did not suffer any injuries in the game.
Tomlin may instead focus on the weather for the Saturday night game. Accuweather says the daytime high in Pittsburgh is expected to be 9 degrees with a low of 8 for the night and a feel-like temperature factoring in the wind of minus-15.
The coldest Steelers home game on record was five degrees against the Patriots on December 17th, 1989.
Accuweather says fans should dress in layers, cover their skin, and limit their time outside on Saturday. The game against the Raiders will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception and feature the retirement of Franco Harris’s number 32 jersey.
