US soccer journalist Grant Wahl is dead at 48 after collapsing at the World Cup in Qatar.

GOLF
The PGA Tour is in Naples for the QBE Shootout which begins today. The event features 12, two-person teams teeing off in several challenges. The tournament begins this morning with a Scramble. Other events include a modified alternate shot and four-ball competitions.
Tiger Woods is one of four golfers competing in Capital One’s “The Match” Saturday in Bellair, Florida. Woods will be paired with Rory McIlroy while Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth will team up against the iconic duo. The golfers will tee off from Pelican Golf Club in a 12-hole competition.
HEISMAN
The 88th Heisman Trophy winner will be announced tonight from the Lincoln Center’s Appel Room in New York City.
This year’s finalists are all quarterbacks. They are USC’s Caleb Williams, Georgia’s Stetson Bennett, TCU’s Max Duggan, and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud.
The winner will be announced in a ceremony tonight at 8 p.m.
