The PITT men’s basketball team will be without junior forward William Jeffress, who underwent season-ending surgery on his left foot Thursday morning.
Jeffress reportedly suffered the injury in early September, causing him to miss each game so far. In his career, he averaged three points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Jeffress is expected to receive a medical redshirt and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
