The Panthers basketball team beat William and Mary 80-64. Blake Hinson led the Panthers with 17 points and 11 boards, Jamarius Burton and John Hughley each had 16 points. William and Mary was led by Ben Wright with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
The Panthers trailed by four points at the end of the first half, but coach Jeff Capel was able to make some adjustments to go on a 14-point run that gave the Panthers an 11 point lead within eight minutes of the second half’s start.
Next game for the Panthers is Monday night against Northwestern.
