The IUP football team will play in the NCAA Division II Super Region 1 Semi-finals today against Ashland.
The #15 Crimson Hawks were the number 1 seed in Super Region 1, which earned them a bye week. The last time they played was against Shepherd on November 12th, which gave the Crimson Hawks the PSAC Championship.
Meanwhile, Ashland, the number four seed and ranked 12th in the nation, is coming off a 20-13 win over Notre Dame of Ohio.
IUP is making its 20th all-time NCAA playoff appearance on Saturday, the fourth most in Division II history. The Crimson Hawks rank seventh in DII with 22 playoff victories.
