The Steelers put in a morning practice on Thanksgiving Day and three players sat out, all of them having left last Sunday’s game against the Bengals with injuries. Center Mason Cole has been battling a foot injury all season and aggravated it against Cincinnati. Running back Jaylen Warren has a hamstring injury. Special teamer and wide receiver Miles Boykin has an oblique injury. Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon also continues to sit out with a hamstring injury.
In the NFL yesterday, the Bills beat the Lions, 28-25, on a 45-yard field goal by Tyler Bass with two seconds left in regulation. Buffalo lost All-Pro linebacker Von Miller with a knee injury. He will have an MRI today.
Dallas knocked off the New York Giants, 28-20, after trailing 13-7 at halftime. Dak Prescott threw two touchdown passes to Dalton Schultz in the third quarter.
The Vikings’ Kirk Cousins hit Adam Thielen with a 15-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to give Minnesota a 33-26 win over the Patriots.
