Penns Manor and Northern Cambria will both wrap up preparations today for tomorrow night’s District 6 Class A football championship at Mansion Park in Altoona. The Comets entered the playoffs as the top seed in the district while the Colts were seeded second.
Penns Manor won, 40-14 when the two teams met on September 30th. Comets coach Bill Packer says Northern Cambria is a better team now and has a more balanced attack.
Packer says the Colts thrive on creating turnovers. They’ve intercepted 22 passes this season.
Packer says the cold weather could be a factor.
Northern Cambria coach Sam Shutty has the keys to a win against Penns Manor.
Shutty says the Colts need to be ready to play from the opening kickoff.
The championship game airs on Cat Country, 106.3 FM, and on Renda Digital TV, presented by Tate’s Supermarket and the Clymer Slovak Club, starting with the Indiana Total Therapy Pregame Show tomorrow at 6 PM. You’ll find the link for both the radio broadcast and the digital TV broadcast at all four of our Renda Broadcasting websites.
