Pitt trailed Michigan by only six at the half last night, but the Wolverines came out firing in the second half and overwhelmed the Panthers, coming away with a 91-60 win at the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, New York.
Michigan was 18-of-25 from the field in the second half and Pitt had no answers either offensively or defensively. Jamarius Burton had 14 points and Blake Hinson scored 13 for Pitt, which will play Virginia Commonwealth tonight, tipping off at 7 o’clock. The airtime on WCCS will be 6:30.
John Hugley returned from his knee injury last night and started for Pitt, scoring nine points with one rebound in 22 minutes of action.
