The NFL trade deadline is at 4:00 today and the Steelers are one of the most closely watched teams in the league. They are not traditionally a team that makes in-season trades, although last year they dealt linebacker Melvin Ingram III to Kansas City. Some of the most prominently mentioned names that might be traded today are quarterbacks Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph and wide receiver Chase Claypool.
The Steelers are in their bye week. They’ll return to action November 13th against New Orleans at Acrisure Stadium.
Last night in the NFL, Cleveland surprised Baltimore, 32-13. Before the game, the Ravens acquired linebacker Roquan Smith from the Bears in exchange for linebacker AJ Klein, second and fifth round picks in next year’s draft. Smith is a good one; he was selected eighth overall in the 2018 draft and is leading the NFL with 83 tackles this season.
