Sullivan says when the Penguins take a knockdown blow like they did in the second period, they have to get back up.
The coach says when the Penguins struggle, it’s because they are playing high-risk hockey.
Sidney Crosby says the Pens can’t expect to win unless they play a complete game.
Crosby says despite giving up six goals, goaltender Tristan Jarry was not the problem.

- The 47 shots faced by Tristan Jarry were the second-most he has ever had to deal with.

Former Penguin Phil Kessel last night matched the NHL record for most consecutive games played, appearing in his 989th straight game. Kessel now plays for the Vegas Golden Knights and tied Philadelphia defenseman Keith Yandle, whose streak ended last March when he was scratched from the Flyers’ lineup. The Knights play San Jose tonight.
