Week seven of the high school football season kicks off tonight with games on all four of our Renda Broadcasting radio stations and two of them streaming online on our YouTube channel. On WCCS and Renda Digital TV tonight, 3-3 Homer-Center travels to play 5-1 Cambria Heights. The Wildcats are coming off a 28-25 last-second loss to Portage while the Highlanders, who lost to Northern Cambria in week one, have strung together five wins in a row, including 56-0 shelling of United Valley last week.
Homer-Center coach Greg Page says the Highlanders are loaded.
Cambria Heights coach Jarrod Lewis says Homer Center could easily be 5-1.
Lewis says his team will need to be sharp on both sides of the ball tonight.
The airtime on WCCS and on Renda Digital TV, brought to you by the Graceton-Coral Sportsman Club, is 6:15. On Cat Country, 106.3 FM, 2-4 Purchase Line visits 0-6 River Valley. Purchase Line beat Marion Center last week while River Valley lost to West Shamokin.
River Valley coach Jess Houser says the Red Dragons are big and tough.
Purchase Line coach Matt Falisec says the battle on the line of scrimmage will be a key tonight.
On 92.5 FM U92 tonight, two 1-5 teams meet up when Marion Center welcomes United Valley.
Stingers coach Adam Rising knows United Valley will be a tough opponent, but he’s focused on his own team.
United Valley coach Kevin Marabito is expecting a new wrinkle or two from Marion Center.
The other Heritage Conference games tonight are two good matchups. Undefeated Penns Manor travels to 4-2 Portage; and two 4-2 football teams meet when West Shamokin visits Northern Cambria.
On WDAD tonight, 3-3 Indiana hosts 5-1 Armstrong in a Greater Allegheny Conference game. Indiana beat Kiski Area last week while Armstrong downed North Catholic.

Airtimes for Purchase Line/River Valley on Cat Country, United Valley/Marion Center on U92, and Indiana/Armstrong on WDAD are all 6:30. The Indiana game is also on Renda Digital TV, brought to you by the Bowser Minich Funeral Home.
