Former IUP defensive back Nazir Streater signed a one-year contract with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL.
Streater confirmed his contract agreement in a message to Renda Media earlier this week. He signed to the Gamblers on September 14th, according to his Instagram. He added that he also had a workout with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.
Streater last played at IUP in during his junior season in 2019 and posted 63 total tackles, six tackles for loss, and six interceptions in 11 games. He also added 217 yards on eight kick returns.
