The Pirates came back to win Wednesday’s series finale against the Cincinnati Reds and they did so in walk-off fashion in extra innings, thanks to second baseman Kevin Newman.

Oneil Cruz, Miguel Andujar and Cal Mitchell each had two hits, with Cruz adding two RBIs off a double in the second. Bryse Wilson posted his best start of the season by posting eight shut-out innings with six strikeouts. He did not factor into the decision.
The Pirates are off tomorrow and start their final road series of the season on Thursday in St. Louis.
