The Indiana High School Cross Country teams won their second invitational in a row. Both the girls and boys teams were crowned champions at the IUP Crimson Hawk Invitational. The girls finished with 27 points and the boys won with 24 points out of 10 teams.
On the girls side, Indiana’s top five runners all placed in the top ten overall. Freshman Addy Fry was the overall winner in the girls race with a time of 21:25.5. Chloe Hain finished third in 22:03, Rachel Gill finished 4th in 22:06, Emmy Davis placed 9th in 22:53 and Belinda Lin placed 10th 23:10. Maddy Bauer finished 22nd in 26:12 and Emily Ferraro finished 25th in 26:30.
The boys team put six runners in the top 10 overall. Senior Seth Weaver led the boys winning the overall in 18:01. Jon Berzonsky placed third in 18:18, Will Berzonsky placed fifth in 18:28, Jacob Gill finished 7th in 18:43, Brennan Huff was 8th in 19:08, Tommy Kauffman was 9th in 19:47 and Jaiden Myers placed 11th in 19:55.
Indiana travels to Yough on Tuesday.
