Pitt returns to Acrisure Stadium today to host the Rhode Island Rams.
The Panthers are coming off a 34-13 win over unranked Western Michigan, while Rhode Island is 2-1, coming off their first loss of the season, a 42-21 route by Delaware.
Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi has hinted that he may be extra careful with some players this week, including leading rusher Izzy Abanikanda, saying he won’t get as many touches as he did against Western Michigan.
Pitt is 19-1 against FCS schools, the only loss in 2012 against Youngstown State.
You can hear the game starting at noon immediately following the Oldies Attic on WCCS.
