In Heritage Conference action Friday night, the West Shamokin Wolves won in walk-off fashion against the Homer-Center Wildcats as Lou Swartz’ Hail Mary pass in the final seconds of the game proved to be the difference maker.

In other Heritage Conference games, both Penns Manor and Northern Cambria kept their undefeated seasons alive after picking up wins over River Valley and United Valley, respectively. Meanwhile, the Northern Cambria Colts upended the United Valley Lions, 20-13, at Pat McMullen Field in Nanty Glo. With their wins, Northern Cambria and Penns Manor move to 4-0.

Lastly, the Portage Mustangs beat the Purchase Line Red Dragons, 35-14.
