The Indiana Little Indians needed triple overtime to get it done, but they came away with their first victory of the season, beating Knoch, 32-31, in Indiana’s home opener.

In Heritage Conference action, three teams – Northern Cambria, Homer-Center and Penns Manor – improved to 2-0.
Northern Cambria shut out Marion Center, 30-0. The Stingers fell to 0-2. The Todd Marino had the recap on U92.5 FM
Homer-Center beat River Valley, 34-20, handing the Panthers their second loss. Mark Bertig had the recap on WCCS FM 101.1 and AM 1160 and Cat Country 106.3 FM.
Penns Manor blanked United Valley, 34-0, leaving the Lions winless after two games. The Comets have not given up a point yet after two weeks, and their win sets up a battle of undefeated teams next Friday when Homer-Center visits Penns Manor.
In other Heritage action, Cambria Heights defeated Portage, 13-6, and Purchase Line beat West Shamokin, 28-7.
