The Steelers had new acquisitions Malik Reed and Jesse Davis on the field yesterday and also welcomed eight players to the practice squad at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
Coach Mike Tomlin said it was a solid day of practice.
Veteran Steelers who signed to the practice squad included running back Anthony McFarland, offensive lineman John Leglue, defensive lineman Carlos Davis, and wide receiver Cody White. The team also signed offensive lineman William Dunkle.
