Homer-Center knocked off River Valley, 3-1, taking the first set, 25-21, dropping the second set, 25-16, and then winning the final two sets by scores of 25-22 and 25-17. The Wildcats’ JV won their match, 2-0.
Cambria Heights lost the first set, 25-15, but won the next three against longtime power Northern Cambria, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-23. Maelyn Dutko had 11 service points and Makenzie Mulraney has 10 to lead the Highlanders.
