The Steelers face the Detroit Lions this afternoon at Accrisure Stadium, and coach Mike Tomlin says that for some roster hopefuls, it will be their last chance to impress the coaches.
All three quarterbacks, starting with Mitch Trubisky, will play. Kenny Pickett will succeed Trubisky with Mason Rudolph also scheduled to take snaps. Outside linebacker Alex Highsmith will not play. He’s missed the last two-and-a-half weeks with a rib injury.
The game airs on WDAD at 2:30. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30.
