The River Valley boys topped Homer-Center by 40 strokes at the Chestnut Ridge golf course yesterday, 236-276.
River Valley’s Jeremy Reed was the medalist, with a 39. Teammate Jake Pynos was one stroke back at 40, with Niko Vadala shooting a 46, Chase Stuchal and brad McDivitt each at 60, and Holden Fridley at 61. For Homer Center, Josh Elkin shot a 47, with Marcus Coy shooting a 48, Caden Vitalie at 53, Julia King a 61, Ava King a 67, and Caden Costello a 68.
The River Valley girls team played a tri-match yesterday, trailing Ligonier Valley by 11 strokes and topping Derry by 21. LV’s Amanda Woods was medalist with a 48. River Valley’s top scorer was Maren Dunlap, with a 55, and Derry was led by Bethany Dixon’s 56.
