PITT FOOTBALL
Pitt defensive lineman Calijah Kancey has been named to the preseason AP All-American second team.
Kancey had already been named to the preseason watchlists for the Walter Camp Award, Lott Impact Trophy, Outland Trophy, and Bronco Nagurski Award.
PITT BASKETBALL
Pitt basketball will take on Michigan in the first round of the 2022 Legends Classic on Wednesday, November 16th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Arizona State and VCU are the other two teams in the tournament. The winners and losers of the Wednesday night games will play each other the following night.
