Indiana Borough Police are advising people that their phone system is going through some problems.
Police say that when you call their non-emergency line of 724-349-2121, they receive a message saying that the line is disconnected or no longer in service.
The police department is working on fixing the issue, but if you need non-emergency assistance, you are asked to call the Indiana County Emergency Management Center at 724-349-1428. The people there will be able to connect you to the police department. This will be in place until further notice.
Of course, if you do have an emergency, you should call 911 immediately.
