The Penguins yesterday re-signed forward Danton Heinen, who gets a one-year, $1 million deal. He actually takes a $100,000 pay cut after scoring 18 goals with 15 assists last season, with three goals in the first-round playoff loss to the Rangers.
Capfriendly.com reports the Heinen contract puts the Pens $1,480,175 over the salary cap.
