Hours before the Steelers were to arrive for the start of training camp, the team signed former Tennessee Titans running back Jeremy McNichols to a one-year contract.
The 26-year-old spent the last two seasons in Tennessee and spent the 2018 season with Indianapolis. In his career, he’s amassed 364 yards on 90 carries with one touchdown, while collected 295 receiving yards on 40 catches and one touchdown.
McNichols was selected by Tampa Bay in 2016 and tallied 3,205 rushing yards in college with Boise State.
He fills the vacant roster spot left by running back Trey Edmunds, who the Steelers released last night.
