BASEBALL
Indiana defeated Lower Merion last night to win the Little League Intermediate 50/70 state championship for players aged 11 to 13. Indiana will move on to play in Long Island, New York in the U.S. East Regionals.
SOFTBALL
The Clymer 10U softball team swept its three-game series with State College, clinching the Section 4 Championship last night with an 11-0 victory at State College. Clymer moves on to the state championship tournament in Thorndale, PA next week. The opening ceremonies will be on Tuesday and games start on Wednesday.
Coming up Monday on Renda Digital TV, it’s a Junior Little League Sectional game between Indiana and Hollidaysburg for players aged 12 to 14 years. You’ll be able to see it on all four Renda Broadcasting websites and Facebook pages, beginning at 5:45.
