The Indiana County Youth Legion League Championship Series will feature two teams from Jefferson County after Brookville defeated the S.W. Jack Drillers of Indiana for a second straight night to win the best-of-three semi-final series. The final score was 14-8.
Brookville will now face Punxsutawney S&T Bank in the best of three championship series beginning Monday night at Punxsutawney. Game 2 will be played Tuesday in Brookville.
S.W. Jack was the number one seed, but they, along with number three seed Marion Center were both eliminated from the league playoffs, however one of them still be named as the host team of the upcoming Western Regionals in Homer City beginning July 22nd.
