While it’s not confirmed yet, Steelers fans should count on seeing veteran quarterback Mitch Trubisky under center in Week One. Various offensive players told The Athletic that it’s difficult to imagine a scenario in which Trubisky doesn’t begin the season as the team’s starting quarterback.
Barring injury or poor performance, Trubisky is expected to get first-team reps during Training Camp or in the preseason.
Training Camp gets underway Wednesday, July 27 at Saint Vincent College.

The hearing regarding discipline for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is set to resume today. ESPN reports it may go longer than that, with the NFL expected to push for a suspension of at least a year. Watson had 24 civil lawsuits filed against him over inappropriate sexual contact during massage sessions. He settled 20 of them last week.
