The Pitt Panthers have received a verbal commitment from Leechburg High School running back/linebacker Braylan Lovelace. He had about a dozen offers, including from Virginia Tech and Army. At 6-2 and 200 pounds, he will look to add weight and play linebacker for the Panthers.
Pitt also got verbal commitments from five other players from the Class of ’23 over the weekend.
The Panthers have also received a commitment from former Notre Dame running back C’Bo Flemister, who missed last season after an injury and a suspension for fleeing the scene of an accident he had caused. Flemister ran for 471 yards and 10 touchdowns in four seasons in South Bend.
