Pitt basketball coach Jeff Capel has gotten a verbal commitment from 6-foot-4-inch guard Carlton Carrington, who will be a high school senior this year at St. Francis Academy in Baltimore.
Carrington averaged 13.2 points per game there last year and is rated the number 100 player in the country by 247Sports.com. He is Capel’s second recruit from the class of 2023.
