The United School Board last night voted to hire Paul Hall to return to the bench as girls’ basketball coach. Hall coached United for four seasons, compiling a 60-36 record from 2017-18 to 2020-21. Craig Bytner resigned after one season as Lions head coach, with a record of 16-7.
The board also hired Eric Sheesley as an assistant junior high football coach, Emili Spaid as assistant varsity volleyball coach, and Jocelyn Hudson and Madison McCully as assistant cheerleading coaches.
Another high school note: Indiana Area has named Dan Roan the new district Athletic Director, replacing Greg Lezanic
