The Pirates yesterday put left-hander Dillon Peters on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to June 3rd. The team did not announce what the injury is or how long they anticipate Peters being out.
ALTOONA CURVE
Altoona travels to Reading to open a six-game series with the Fightin’ Phils tonight. Right-hander Mike Burrows gets the start for the Curve. Burrows was roughed up last Wednesday by Bowie as he suffered his first loss of the season, a day after being named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week. He’s 3-1 with a 2.36 ERA.
