Coach Jeff Capel landed another three-point shooter on Friday. JUCO transfer and 6-foot-4 guard Cashius McNeilly announced his commitment to PITT last night in an Instagram post. He is listed as a four-star shooting guard out of Ontario, Canada, who attended Northern Oklahoma College.
McNeilly redshirted his freshman year at Texas A&M, then sat out the following season because of COVID-19. He transferred to TCU to join former PITT head coach Jamie Dixon, but left for Northern Oklahoma after the fall semester.
McNeilly adds the second three-point threat for PITT this year after Marquette-transfer Greg Elliott committed earlier this year.
