For the 8th straight year, the Steelers will kick off their season on the road. The NFL last night announced the schedules for this season for each team.
The Steelers will open with the defending AFC Champion Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday, September 11th at 1 PM. They will play host to the Patriots the following Sunday and then play a Thursday night game in Cleveland on September 22nd.
The October schedule features five Sunday games, at home against the Jets, at Buffalo the following week, then home for Tampa Bay and at Miami in prime time. They will close October at the Eagles.
In November, the Steelers will start with their Bye Week, then play two straight at home, against the Saints and the Bengals (in a Sunday night game). They will close out the month at Indianapolis.
The December schedule includes three Sunday games to start, at Atlanta, home against the Ravens, then at Carolina. Then on Saturday, December 24th, the Steelers will play the Raiders at Heinz Field on the day after the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception game.
The January schedule has two games to close the regular season, at the Ravens on Sunday, New Year’s Day, and at home against Cleveland in a Saturday or Sunday game.
