Indiana Borough Police report that a Marion Center resident was charged following a hit and run last Saturday.
Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of Philadelphia St. around 2:10 p.m. last Saturday after a hit and run accident was reported a few days earlier. Following an investigation, officers identified the suspected driver as 60-year-old Randa Shick of Marion Center. Charges were filed through Magesterial Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
DUI
An Indiana man was charged after he was discovered driving under the influence on Tuesday.
Indiana Borough Police conducted a traffic stop along the 100-block of South 6th St. shortly after midnight on Tuesday and they found that 21-year-old Tanner Russella was driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance to a degree where he was unsafe to drive. Police arrested Russella, conducted a blood draw, then released him to a sober adult a little later.
A criminal complaint of DUI and a summary traffic violation was filed through Judge Haberl’s office.
