After wrapping up their season with a win yesterday, the Indiana girl’s lacrosse team learned this morning that it will be the No. 4 seed in the WPIAL playoffs.
In addition to their seeding, the Little Indians clinched a first round bye and home field advantage in a quarterfinal game.
Indiana’s first game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17th at 7 p.m., and will host the winner of Chartiers-Valley and Oakland Catholic.
YESTERDAY’S RECAP:
Indiana clubbed Greensburg Salem, 20-5, in their final Section game yesterday, raising its record to 13-1. Kennedi Kunkle led all scorers with five goals, Kyla Weaver scored four, Gianna Brody and Brynlee Schawl each had three. Kayla Leon, Caroline Albert, Lucia Clark, Cecilia Spadafora and Anna Buterbaugh rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece. In goal, Anna Buterbaugh stopped four shots and Ava Thomas two.
