The LA Dodgers jumped on Pirates pitchers early last night and ran away from the Bucs in the second game of their three-game series.

The Pirates put outfielder Jake Marisnick on the 10-day injury list with a thumb contusion suffered on a diving catch in Monday’s game. Right-handed pitcher Max Kranick was recalled from Indianapolis to fill the roster spot.
The series concludes this afternoon at PNC Park. Lefty Dillon Peters starts for the Pirates. The Dodgers have not named their starter. It’s a 12:10 airtime on WCCS.

Angels rookie pitcher Reid Detmers is the first to throw a no-hitter this season. In just his 11th Big League start, Detmers tossed the 12th no-no in Angels history in a 12-0 rout of the Rays in Anaheim. He allowed just one walk and struck out two.
