On Wednesday night, the Clymer Borough Council approved a resolution concerning worker’s compensation for fire department members.
The resolution, which must be approved annually, will approve and authorize firefighters and others as specified in the Pennsylvania Worker’s Compensation Act. Borough manager Sonya Schrenkel explains.
Council also approved a new policy for a borough employee clothing allowance. Council will grant a $200 per fiscal year allowance for a full time Clymer Borough employee, but the borough council require that the employee maintain the proper work apparel.
