Indiana County first responders were active late on Monday and early this morning with several different types of calls.
Clymer and Indiana fire departments were dispatched to Kinter Road in Rayne Township at 3:14 PM for what was termed a “physical rescue.” At 6:03, Homer City, Indiana, Coral-Graceton and Brush Valley fire departments, Citizens’ Ambulance and the RIG team were dispatched to a residence on Coy Street for what was reported as a structure fire. Homer City fire officials said that the fire was contained to an electrical outlet in the wall and damage was minimal.
Rossiter and Glen Campbell fire departments were called out at 2:32 this morning to Harkleroad Road in Banks Township to help with a medic assist.
And Homer City fire crews were called out this morning to a location on Lucerne Road in Center Township. The automatic fire alarm was reported at 5:21 this morning. Officials say that it was a false alarm and crews left after ten minutes.
