No injuries have been reported, but eight fire companies have been called out to a structure fire in Pine Township.
The fire was first reported at 10:12 this morning at a two-story home at 101 Third Avenue in Heilwood. Initially, Pine Township, Cherryhill Township, Clymer, Nicktown and Hope fire departments were dispatched, but as more manpower was needed, Spangler fire department was dispatched a few minutes later, and after about 40 minutes, Nanty Glo and Marion Center fire departments were called out.
Scanner reports said that everyone living in the house were able to get out safely. Utility crews were also called out to the house to shut off power and gas, and Citizens Ambulance is also on the scene.
No word yet on how the fire started. Crews are still on scene at this time.
