Picking up mail in a post office in Coral-Graceton took a step closer to reality as the new modular post office was brought in this morning.
Crews used a crane to lift the pre-fabricated building onto the pad near the Coral-Graceton fire hall. The post office will include an area for counter service that will be open limited hours and an area for PO boxes that will be open 24/7. The community had been without a post office since 2016, when the previous post office was torched in an arson.
Congressman Glen “GT” Thompson has been cited as one of the driving factors in getting the post office back to Coral-Graceton, but he was quick to credit the citizens of the community for their patience in this matter.
