Crosby says the Penguins simply should have been better.
Entering the final week of the season, the Penguins lead the Capitals by one point in the Metro Division standings, but the Capitals have three games left while the Pens have only two.
Washington plays the Islanders twice, starting tomorrow night, and closes out the regular season with the second-place Rangers. The Penguins have two games, both at home, against the tough Edmonton Oilers tomorrow night and the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.
